The Crusader Explorer Unit is part of the District organization but meet at the 15th’s headquarters. Activities include much the same as the Scouts but the emphasis includes getting on with others,keeping the Promise,personal development,working together,responsibility and of course … having fun!

Explorer Scouts are a newer section created in September 2002 offering the Members a wide range of activities and experiences through an integrated programme run by Romsey District. 15th Romsey have their own unit affiliated to the Group that undertake their own activities as well as joining in the District Programme.
Training: The members are encouraged to complete the Duke of Edinburgh Awards –but there are also 14 Activity Badges for the Explorer Scouts. There are three “top awards” –Chief Scout’s Platinum Award,Chief Scout’s Diamond Award and the Queen’s Scout Award. Click here for more information about badges.
